We raise rabbits specifically to serve as emotional support companions. Our goal is to place each rabbit in a loving, prepared home where they will be valued as a companion animal.
Emotional support rabbits cost $35-65.
We prefer cash, but Venmo is also accepted.
Our adoption process is designed to ensure that every rabbit is placed in a home that is prepared to care for them properly.
The first step in adopting one of our rabbits is completing an adoption application.
Please email us by using the CONTACT button below to request an application.
The application helps us learn about your home, your experience with animals, and the environment where the rabbit will live. Rabbits require proper housing, diet, and care, and the application helps ensure that each rabbit is placed in a responsible home.
After reviewing your application, we will schedule a meeting.
Our rabbitry is a closed rabbitry for biosecurity reasons, we will schedule a mutual meeting place rather than having visitors come directly into the rabbitry. This meeting also gives you the opportunity to meet the rabbits and choose the one that best fits you.
During this appointment we will conduct a short interview to make sure the rabbit is a good fit for your home and lifestyle. We reserve the right to decline an application if it is not in the rabbit’s best interest, and our decision is final.
Before adoption day, please make sure you have your rabbit’s housing and supplies ready.
We do not provide cages, supplies, or carriers, so adopters must bring their own carrier or transport container when picking up their rabbit.
A pet carrier is ideal, but a box with hay will also work if needed.
Minimum cage size: 30” x 30”
Rabbits should also have a separate exercise area outside the cage.
We recommend a collapsible exercise pen, which is listed in the Supplies section.
Rabbits should not live with chickens, as chickens can transmit diseases and respiratory illnesses to rabbits.
Please ensure housing and supplies are ready before adoption.
Proper nutrition is essential for a rabbit’s health.

We breed rabbits specifically to serve as emotional support companions.
Our rabbits are companions — not meat rabbits.
We do not sell rabbits for holidays or gifts.
Unfortunately, many rabbits purchased as seasonal gifts are later abandoned. Domesticated rabbits are currently the third most common pet surrendered to shelters, after dogs and cats. This problem is especially severe around Easter, when impulse purchases lead to many rabbits being abandoned or dying within the first year. Domestic rabbits cannot survive in the wild, and releasing them outdoors is often fatal.
For this reason, we only place rabbits in homes that are prepared to care for them as long-term companion animals.
After our rabbits have left our rabbitry and are in your possession, WillowBlossom Rabbits is no longer responsible for the health of the animal. We will not be responsible for any vet bills once the animal has left our rabbitry.
