What happens behind the scenes

Here at the rabbitry I am always at work. You will read about how I raise the baby bunnies, how I price them, and how I home them. 

Training starts from the day they are born for these little bunnies. Every day they are taken out and checked on. When handling them I will:

• Check for any injuries

• Make sure all are well fed

• Gently flip them on their backs while holding them

• Touch their nose, tail, ears, and feet

This is the beginning of the desensitization training. This will go on once a day for two weeks. Week three I will sit with them in a pen for fifteen minutes once a day.
